My Journey

The Heart Behind the Mission

I was born with a quiet confidence—assertive, sure of myself, and clear on my direction. But as I moved through life, the friction of unmet expectations and the weight of the “not yet” began to take their toll. Bit by bit, the layers of who I thought I was supposed to be began to bury the woman God created me to be. Until one day, I looked in the mirror and I couldn’t remember who I was.

The Season of Silence

As a lawyer and HR professional, I was a “fixer.” Yet, I couldn’t find the answer to my own restlessness. I spent ten years waiting to be married and three years waiting for my first child.

I lived in the “not yet,” holding my faith while wrestling with a silence that felt incredibly loud. I was paralyzed by the fear that I had missed my window and lost my value.

From Shrinking to Replanting

But it was in that stillness that God met me. He gently taught me that my confidence didn’t have to be loud to be real—it just had to be rooted in Him.

I realized that the “waiting” wasn’t a punishment; it was preparation. I wasn’t shrinking anymore; I was being replanted in better soil.

My Invitation to You

This journey of healing and rediscovery is what inspired Her Lens, His Promise. I no longer shrink to fit into places that don’t honor who I am. I’ve learned to anchor my identity in His unchanging promises, and I’m here to walk with you as you stop looking at what’s missing and start seeing the God who has always been more than enough.
